Software studio, Austin, Texas

Working software. Data that holds up.

We build native mobile apps, public data directories, and independent research, along with the pipelines and tests that keep them honest.

What we do

Four things, done properly

Services →
01

Native mobile

Kotlin and Jetpack Compose on Android, Swift and SwiftUI on iOS. Offline-first, maps, background sync, and the release discipline to get through store review.

Mobile apps →
02

Data products

Directories and dashboards built on public data: OpenStreetMap, Census, government registries. Pipelines that refresh, and a verification layer on top.

03

Independent research

Backtests of trading services and market hypotheses with real fills, walk-forward validation, and honest confidence intervals. We publish the misses.

04

Full-stack systems

Next.js, FastAPI, Express, Postgres. Payments, pipelines, admin tooling, and the tests that prove it all works.

Research

We backtest the people selling trades.

Five published audits so far: a 951-idea, 19-year test of a weekly stock-picking service, a 425-trade futures dip-buy with walk-forward validation, a crude oil mean-reversion setup, and a 271-video Bitcoin YouTuber whose calls we could not score cleanly. That last one is a finding too. The newest checks a hardware pitch instead of a trade call: a front-desk message lamp with no technology moat, whose pilot units cost more than the retail price.
